Both subscriptions give you full access plus every new feature as it ships — monthly bills each month and cancels any time, annual bills once a year and works out to one month free. Perpetual is a one-time payment for permanent access to the current release and its minor updates, but not to future major versions.

Yes — cancel any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, Pixosight will stop accepting license validation and you'll no longer be able to open the application. Your existing exported images and measurement records are yours and stay on your machine.

Yes. Both the monthly and annual subscription plans include a 30-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel any time during the trial and you won't be billed at all. The perpetual license does not include a trial period.

Anything Windows exposes as a capture device. Two backends ship — Media Foundation for USB and UVC cameras, DirectShow for hardware a UVC-only path would miss. Plenty of cameras work as soon as you plug them in; others only show up once the manufacturer's driver or software package is installed, since that's what registers them with Windows. Pixosight lists whatever Windows has, so if the camera appears in another capture app it should appear here. We don't certify specific models — the trial is the quickest way to confirm your own.

You measure something of known size in the image or live feed, enter its real value and unit, and name the profile. That profile belongs to one optical setup — a specific magnification, focal distance, and camera — so keep the setup and it reloads every session. Change the optics and you calibrate once more. Profiles are shared across Windows users on the machine and export as JSON.

Licences are machine-tied but transferable. Deactivating a device in the portal frees its activation; for a move to a new machine or a reactivation after a hardware change, email info@vcnet.us and we'll handle it. One activation covers every Windows user on a PC, so a shared bench machine doesn't need one each.

Sign in to the customer portal and download the signed installer from the Downloads page, then enter your licence key the first time Pixosight opens. There's no public download link — the installer is behind your account. If you're deploying to an air-gapped or tightly restricted machine, get in touch and we'll arrange offline activation.

Not as CSV, Excel, or PDF — there's no report export today. You can export the annotated image with everything baked in, and copy measurement text with Ctrl+C. If a tabular export matters to your workflow, tell us; it helps us prioritise.

Yes, for license validation. If the license server is temporarily unreachable, short-term offline use is supported. Your measurement data and images are always local — nothing is uploaded. If you need to run in an air-gapped or restricted network environment, contact us.

Windows 10 version 2004 (build 19041) or later, and Windows 11. There is no macOS or Linux build.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Invoicing is available for businesses that need a purchase order process — contact us to arrange. Multi-seat pricing is also available by inquiry.
